What Is VA Community Care?
The VA MISSION Act allows eligible veterans to receive care from community providers—like The Hearing Doctor—when accessing care through the VA is difficult or delayed. This program ensures veterans receive timely, high-quality healthcare without unnecessary barriers.
You May Qualify for VA Community Care If:
- Specialty audiology services are not readily available at a VA facility
- Your drive time to VA care exceeds 60 minutes
- VA appointments are delayed longer than 28 days
- Community care is determined to be in your best medical interest
