Dr. Arica Black is the owner of The Hearing Doctor and has practiced in Lubbock since 2013. Dr. Black received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences as well as her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Sydney comes from the small town of Clayton, New Mexico. She completed her undergraduate degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Sydney is currently pursuing her Doctor of Audiology and will graduate in May of 2027. She is excited for this opportunity at The Hearing Doctor and is excited to meet all of you! Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, a good cup of coffee and road trips.
