Dr. Arica Black is the owner of The Hearing Doctor and has practiced in Lubbock since 2013. Dr. Black received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences as well as her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Heather was born and raised in Lubbock,TX. She has two awesome daughters who are 20 and 21 years old. Her oldest daughter is attending Covenant School of Nursing and her youngest daughter attends Texas Tech. She attended New Deal High School and received her Associates from South Plains College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and friends. She also loves planting flowers and shopping at antique stores. She is an avid coffee drinker and loves meeting new people. She enjoys life and loves to meet all the new people she serves at The Hearing Doctor.
