Dr. Arica Black is the owner of The Hearing Doctor and has practiced in Lubbock since 2013. Dr. Black received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences as well as her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Sage grew up in the small town of Hardin, Texas. She moved to Lubbock to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Sage is currently working towards her Doctor of Audiology degree and will graduate in May of 2025. Sage enjoys thrifting with her mom and baking in her free time. She has 3 dogs named Oby, Gemma and Char. She looks forward to meeting all of the amazing people that come into The Hearing Doctor.
